A Victorian map of the historic regions of Afghanistan and Belochistan, now parts of modern Afghanistan and Pakistan. The historic region of Afghanistan, coloured green, is roughly comparable with the southern half of the modern nation of the same name, with Kabul at its northern extent here bordering of the regions of Budakshan and Bokhara. Belochistan is shown in orange, now divided between Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, and stretching almost to the Indus River. Condition: Central horizontal fold, as issued. Blank on verso. |
