Inscription below image: "Anne de La Vigne Nee a Vernon, Morte a Paris en 1684" Anne de Lavigne (c. 1634-1684) was a French author and poet, who studied natural philosophy and admired Descartes. Condition: Slight overall time toning and surface dirt built-up. |
