A view of Christ's College done for the 1810 Cambridge University Almanack depicting Christ's College with a grazing cow right, dogs centre, and two Academics in conversation left with the full calendar below. S. Sparrow (fl. 1770 - 1806) Engraver, caricaturist, and publisher based in Clarkenwell. Joshua Kirby Baldrey (1754-1828) British printer, etcher, and draughtsman. His early work centred on stipples and satires. He provided drawing for the Cambridge University Almanack 1803 to 1810. Condition: Repaired tear right into plate and into calendar space, overall creasing, repaired puncture in upper left inscription space, horizontal creases upper left margins and repaired worm hole in margins. Original tax stamp upper left margin, loss to lower right corner margin. |
