Signed in pencil by the artist. A small etching of the Canterbury Gate. In the foreground there are small groups of people in period dress. Arthur L. Cherry was an etcher and painter of landscapes and marine scenes as well as a photographer. Cherry Lived in St Albans where his family owned a successful photographic studio and framing business in College Street and London Road. Condition: Adhesive stain on verso. |
