Daniel Wilhelm Triller (1695 - 1782) was a German physician and writer. Johann Jakob Haid (1704 - 1767) was German painter, publisher and engraver. He trained in Augsburg where he is likely to have taught enamel in 1745. The father of Johann Elias Haid, he is also known to have founded a large publishing house. Franz Lippold (1688 -1768) was a German portrait painter. A pupil of Balthasar Denner in Hamburg, Lippold worked at various royal courts before settling in Frankfurt. Lippold was considered by contemporaries as the best portrait painter of his time in the Frankfurt area. He painted, among others, emperor Charles VII, Empress Maria Theresa and Emperor Francis I. |
