Jens Juel (15 July 1631 – May 23, 1700) was a Danish diplomat and statesman of great influence at the Danish court who was created Baron and granted Juellinge in 1672. He was the brother of Admiral Niels Juel Gerard Valck or Gerard Valk ( Amsterdam , 30 September 1652 - t21 October 1726 ) Dutch engraver and printseller Wallerant Vaillant, (30 May 1623 - 28 August 1677), was a painter of the Dutch Golden Age and one of the first artists to use the mezzotint technique, which he probably helped to develop. |
