Frederick de Wit (c.1630 - 1706) was a Dutch cartographer who followed in the footsteps of the earlier Dutch cartographic publishers Jansson and Blaeu. Like them, de Wit issued maps known for their beautiful engraving and hand coloring. Condition: Some surface dirt to left of map, repaired tear to the centre fold. |
