Half length portrait of Prince Edward, Duke of York and Albany, born Edward Augustus 25 March 1739 – 17 September 1767. The Prince appears as a young boy, turned to the left and facing forward. The portrait was originally published for the London Magazine. Prince Edward, Duke of York and Albany (1739-1767) was the younger brother of King George III, the second son of Frederick, Prince of Wales, and Princess Augusta of Saxe-Gotha.
