A depiction of part of the ruins of Kenilworth Castle, what's remaining of the building overgrown with weeds. A female figure can be seen crouching at the right. From a series of prints by Alfred Baker entitled 'The Ruins of Kenilworth Castle'. Francis Oliver Finch (1802-1862) was a British watercolourist and lithographer. Alfred Baker (fl. 1822) was a British etcher, painter and draughtsman. Condition: Time toning. Foxing, all the darker areas affecting only the margins. Tears to edges. |
