Alfred Grimod d'Orsay, known as the comte d'Orsay (Count of Orsay) (Alfred Guillaume Gabriel; 4 1801– 1852) was a French amateur artist, dandy, and man of fashion in the early- to mid nineteenth century.

Edwin Landseer (1802 - 1873) was a painter of sentimental animals, lithographer, etcher and occasional sculptor and illustrator, born in London he was the son of the engraver John Landseer. He entered the Royal Academy School in 1816 and exhibited at the RA throughout his life.
