Notes An early nineteenth century map of the county of Middlesex, from Langley's new county atlas of England and Wales. The map is ornamented in early hand colour, and features a vignette of London from the Thames.

Edward Langley (fl.1802-1827) was a British printer, publisher, and engraver, principally known for his county atlas maps, but also trade-cards, stationery, and jigsaw puzzles. Between 1805 and 1819 he was in partnership with William Belch.
