Nobukazu Yosai (Watanabe) (1874 - 1944) was a Japanese woodblock artist active during the late 19th and early 20th century. He was a student of Chikanobu Yoshu (1838-1912), Chikanobu's influence visible in Nobukazu's prints of bijin-ga and traditional domestic scenes and customs. He produced a large number of battle themed triptychs during the Sino-Japanese (1894 - 1895) and Russo-Japanese wars (1904 - 1905) which he was most known for.
