Signed in pencil Watson 158 One of 200 impressions Charles John Watson, R.E. (1846-1927) Painter and etcher of landscapes and architectural subjects. He exhibted at leading London Galleries from 1872, including the R.A. R.B.A., R.E., R.I. and was elected to the R.E. in 1881. He worked extensivly in Norfolk, also in Italy and France. He lived in Norwich and later in London. He was married to artist Minna Bollingbroke. |
