A satirical print depicting a man carrying a gun to the left, who has come across to ladies in a forest. The ladies are the other side of the fence, one of them is seated with a fan and her head resting in her hand, the other is standing and greeting the sportsman's dog. Chaloner Smith undescribed, BM Satires undescribed Condition: Repaired tear to top of sheet and image. Time toning and foxing to sheet, water stain to lower right side of image, pressed horizontal crease. Framed in an early 19th century frame. |
